The PL-Series of seals are pre-engineered single and dual cartridge seals with nonmetallic wetted components for use in highly corrosive chemical services where the alternative cost of high alloy metal seals is prohibitive.
The PL Series features premium materials throughout. The sleeve is fabricated from a new grade of carbon fiber reinforced PTFE providing superior chemical resistance of PTFE and consistent mechanical properties. A carbon fiber PTFE liner protects the 316 SS gland and is replaceable resulting in reduced maintenance cost. Springs and pins are isolated from the product to prevent clogging and chemical attack.
Full vacuum to 150 psig (10.3 bar), Up to 175 psig (12.1 bar), 0° to 300° F (-20° to 150° C), Up to 3600 rpm
