Back pullout, cartridge-style construction: Allows quick replacement of the inner case sub-assembly (rotor, diffusers, discharge/suction heads, seals, and bearings) to minimize downtime.
Stiff rotor design: Large-diameter, thermally stabilized shaft prevents distortion from residual stresses.
Precision-cast impellers: Low specific speed, statically and dynamically balanced; double-keyed and secured against axial movement in high-speed applications. First-stage impeller options meet varying NPSH requirements.
Multi-vane, radially split diffusers and channel ring collectors: Eliminate radial imbalances and ensure repeatable performance.
Axial thrust management: Single-diameter balance drum compensates for residual axial thrust from tandem impellers.
Seal flexibility: ISO 21049/API 682 seal chamber accommodates multiple mechanical seal types.
Optional WIKO opposed impeller design: For discharge pressures >450 bar (6,615 psi), balancing hydraulic thrust.
Heavy-duty bearings: Pressure dam radial sleeve bearings and Kingsbury thrust bearings with lube oil system reduce vibration and support high-speed reliability.
Rotor stability: Classified as “Large shaft, wet running” per Duncan Hood Chart; rotor stabilized dynamically via Lomakin effect without contacting the stator.
